Alvin Lee Guzman was born March 16, 1949, in Yakima, to Rosalie Scarceman and Julian Guzman. He passed away the afternoon of Friday, April 3, 2015, peacefully in his own home in Lapwai, as he wished.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dominga and Julian Guzman; his parents, Rosalie Scarceman and Julian Guzman; his daughter, Jessica Armstrong; brothers Julian Guzman Jr., Tony Cuttfinger and Gabriel Cuttfinger; and sisters Patsy Bigman and Jeenie.
He is survived by his many kids and grandkids; brothers Ruben Cuttfinger and Gilbert Cuttfinger.
Alvin was always a hard worker and good father. He always took care of family and his friends when needed. He was very loved and respected in this community and the other communities he resided in before living in Lapwai.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lapwai. A dinner will follow in his honor at the church dining hall.
