Doris Estella Ziegeldorf, 75, of Lewiston, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 14, 2025, in Coeur d’Alene.

Doris was born in Lewiston to Ernest and Sara Dennler on Jan. 12, 1950. She went to Genesee Junior/Senior High School. She graduated from Idaho State University with her Master of Science in nursing in 1997. She worked at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center for 16 years, until she joined Clearwater Medical Clinic as a nurse practitioner in 1997 and retired in 2020. Doris had a private wellness practice until she passed away.

Doris is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Sara; her sister Shirley Harden and brother George Dennler.

Doris is survived by her son Justin Reed and daughter-in-law Angie Reed from Buckley, Wash. Also, her brothers Gary and Ora Dennler. Doris had one granddaughter Jessica Reed; she was the light of her life. Doris never missed a birthday and has been Jessica’s biggest cheerleader in all her activities from Girl Scouts, to 4-H, to FFA.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, at Malcom’s Brower-Wann Funeral Home, 1711 18th St., Lewiston. Burial will follow at Fix Ridge Cemetery in Juliaetta.
