Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Von Bargen passed away April 23, 2017. She was born to Lloyd and Margaret (Schwegel) Merrel on May 6, 1945, in Chicago.

She married Milton R. Wilson in June of 1965 in Lewiston. They divorced in 1985. Betty married I. Rodney Von Bargen in September of 1985.

Betty worked as a typesetter and in the course of her career developed her own following of clients who requested her skills.

She is survived by her husband, Rod Von Bargen; children Jane (Gregg) Reed and Andy (Michelle) Wilson; sister Louise (Bill) Sharp; and brother Ray (Beth) Merrell.

Viewing for family and close friends will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Malcom's Brower-Wann Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at Normal Hill Cemetery.
