Everett Popham passed away peacefully at his home in Clarkston on Monday, Oct. 23, 2023. He was 93 years old.

Everett was born in Corvallis, Ore. He graduated from Clarkston High School in 1949. Everett served in the Korean War.

He married his lifelong love Janie in 1956, Everett worked for the Camas Prairie Railroad for 30 years.

His passions were spending time with his family, traveling, hunting and fishing. In retirement he built his dream house overlooking the Snake River, always a good conversation with the neighbors about the wildlife they would see.

Everett could be found spending time each summer doing additional landscaping every year until he passed.

Favorite memory would be Everett and Janie with the family pet Exxon the Vizsla doing rock work, and planting flower beds.

Everett is survived by his wife Janie Popham; their two sons, Wade and Tracy; and two granddaughters, Kinsey and Brenna.

A memorial service will be held at their home in the spring.
