John Burl Bryan, 78, of Juliaetta died Saturday, June 3, 2017, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center with family by his side.

He was born Sept. 10, 1938, in Boone, N.C., to Andrew Jackson Bryan and Lela Blanche Winebarger Bryan. In his late teens he moved to Idaho, later married Patricia Grayson-Bovencamp and went on to raise four children. He was a millworker who worked very hard to support his family.

John was an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener. He was a loving and devoted father and husband. He will be missed.

He is survived by his daughter, Cathy; sons John, Patrick and Kelvin; sisters Mary and Martha Ruth; brothers Glenn, Paul and Raymond; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. June 17 at the Juliaetta Cemetery.
