Our mother, Lee A. Abel, went to be with God from her home on Monday, March 18, 2019, at the age of 71.

Lee was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Joy Wittman; and her husband, Glenn Abel. Lee is survived by her daughter, Bobbie and Bob Reed; and her son, Edward and Vennessa Clark; her two sisters, Melba Henderson and Lucy and Jim Rose. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.

Mom loved having family and friends around, especially for barbecues. She also enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, mushrooming, huckleberry picking and walking her dogs in the mountains.

Please join us for her memorial service at 2 p.m. Thursday at Emmanuel Baptist church with a memorial dinner to be announced at the service.
