Rodd W. Herzog, 42, passed away Monday, April 1, 2019, at home, with his mother by his side.
Rodd was born Feb. 28, 1977, in Clarkston. He attended St. Stanislaus Catholic School and graduated from Lewiston High School in 1995. After high school, he earned a certificate in welding from Lewis-Clark State College. He worked for Potlach Corp. in the lumber mill for a few years. He loved welding and worked at numerous places as a welder and for several years at Tricker Trailers in Lewiston. He suffered a stroke in 2013.
He enjoyed playing golf, darts and horseshoes. He was very proud of the motorcycle he built.
Rodd is survived by his mom, Doris Herzog; siblings Scott (Kim) Herzog, Pam (Pete) Boller, Russ Herzog and Kris (Steve) Biddiscombe; seven nieces and nephews and their families; as well as multiple aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father, James Herzog.
